Tere Cuellar loves to study light and feelings with paint. A self-taught artist born in Spain and based in Edmonton, Canada, is obsessed with color theory and limited palettes. She is constantly exploring new ways to express all kind of emotions ( from hope to desperation) in oils. Tere often works with portrait and figurative photos where the sunlight plays the leading role. Hands are very present at her artworks, as well as plants. Both of them have a resonance beyond their surfaces.
